CFCA 1 - 100LP

The Cease Fire® CFCA 1 - 100LP is a self-activating unit. Each unit is designed to initiate automatically by means of a sprinkler head rated at 155ºF (68ºC). Alternative sprinkler head options are available, ranging from 135°F - 286°F. With custom applications reaching up to 1,800°F. The temperature rating for each sprinkler head is stamped on the star shaped deflector in both Fahrenheit and Celsius measurements. The temperature of the sprinkler head is fixed and must be designated at the time of purchase. When the temperature rise to activate the Cease Fire® unit, the sprinkler head opens automatically and dispenses the entire contents in less than 10 seconds onto the fire and throughout the enclosure being protected. If the unit is equipped with the optional pressure switch, a signal is sent at the time of discharge to activate accessory equipment, such as an alarm.

The LP in the naming of this CFCA denotes the orientation the unit is designed to be installed. LP standing for "Low Profile" and ment to be installed horizontal rather than vertical. When installed horizontally the unit takes up as little 3.5" of space. The naming of CFCA 1 - 100LP stands for the cubic volume that each unit can protect. Any space with a cubic volume of 1 - 100 feet can be protected by a single CFCA 1 - 100LP.
